CHECKLIST FOR A SUCCESSFUL ELECTRIC FENCE INSTALLATION!
If an electric fence is to work as well as possible, we recommend that items such as these are included in your installation.
Electric fence energiser, to supply power to the fence.
Supply cable, positioned between the energiser and earth stake.
Earth stake, driven into the ground to earth the energiser.
Lightning protection, good to have to protect the energiser against lightning and lightning strikes.
Fence post, to secure fence wire.
Insulators, for fence wires and wooden poles.
Connection cable, attached between the energiser and fence wire.
Connection cable, attached between electric tape.
Electric tape, electric rope or electric wire, used as fence wire.
Spring gate, used to open and close the fence.
Gate insulator, used and attached at gate openings.
Warning sign, to warn those nearby that a fence has been erected.
Tape insulator, used to insulate.
Plastic post, used as fence posts.
Tape splice, to splice electric tape.
Wire tensioner, used to tighten the wire.
