Protect your sheep, winter and summer. Sheep that spend more than 16 hours outdoors in winter should have access to an open shed with a roof and three enclosed sides. It is recommended that the open side is south-facing. With a Kellfri wind shelter, the sheep have a clean, dry place to lie down.
Even in summer, it's great for the animals to have a wind shelter or open shed. Gnats don't usually bite when they go under a roof, and horseflies don't go under roofs at all, which means the animals have peace and quiet during the times of day when the insects are most active.
