The battery box is designed to be more stable, both for the trailer and for the installed battery. The battery box is mounted onto the trailer's tow bar. With 6 bolts, twice as many as previously, the box and battery stay in place. The box is locked from the outside by means of a floor lock, and has larger hinges than previous models.
The box casing is of 1.5 mm thick galvanised plate. The box is large enough to suit various battery sizes and variations, and inside there is an adjustable plate that can be adapted in size to the installed battery. The plate can be locked, and holds the battery firmly in place.
